Software your teams once waited two quarters for now takes them days to build. What comes after that shift is the harder part: deciding what deserves to exist, modeling it so it survives real use, and getting the organization to adopt it. This program is about that part.
The constraint that shaped everything
Producing software inside an enterprise has always meant buying intelligence. You hired it, or you waited your turn at IT’s door. That meant plenty of good ideas never got built, because nobody could justify six months of engineering for them.
Base44 removed that cost. The person who owns a process can now build the tool for it herself, in days.
The judgment did not go with it. Someone still decides which of the next thirty ideas deserve to exist, and who signs off before one carries real data. Scarcity used to make those calls by default. Now people have to make them.
How the program works
Three parts we combine, in the mix each organization needs.

- Build: Use cases get specified, then built by your teams with us alongside, so the capability stays with you.
- For Scale: We build the mechanism that holds governance, cost, quality and security as the volume grows.
What the program includes
For leaders
- Think Big Sessions (In-person): Your leadership team builds a real application on one of your own use cases, in one session, and leaves with a ranked shortlist.
For the people building
- The Builder Agent (AI-guided): An AI agent that runs our discovery method with you: it interviews you about the use case, works backwards from the outcome, scores the opportunity, and returns a build prompt ready to run on Base44.
- Build Clinics (In-person): Monthly sessions where builders gradually learn to use more Base44 capabilities, are inspired by what others have built, and get answers to their questions.
- Think Big Hub (Self-service): Videos, worksheets, job aids and recorded builds, available the moment a question comes up.
For admins and governance teams
- Scale Kit (Self-service): Builder roles and permissions, data handling rules, review checkpoints and sign-off criteria: the terms on which a governance team can say yes and defend it later.
What everyone learns
Five things come up in every engagement, and they are the parts that stay true when the platform renames a feature, which it does.
- Thinking in apps: What makes an internal use case worth building, and what makes one a bad idea in good clothes.
- Spec first: Working Backwards from the outcome before anyone opens a prompt.
- Data thinking: Entities, relationships and ownership, settled before the first screen.
- Deterministic or agentic: When the application needs AI and when it needs ordinary logic.
- Security fundamentals: Least privilege, data boundaries, and who can see what.

Who runs this
We have been building on Base44 since March 2025 and have taken organizations through four kinds of work on it:
- Product management: Prototypes and internal product tooling that used to sit in an engineering backlog.
- Internal tools: Applications built by the functions that own the process.
- Data portals: One question asked in plain language across the systems that each hold part of the answer.
- Customer-facing applications: Including campaign and event properties that had to be live within the week.

Common questions
- What is Base44?
- An AI application platform. Teams describe what they need in plain language and get working software, with enterprise controls for identity, permissions and data, running on Wix enterprise infrastructure.
- Our teams already use AI tools. Why add a program?
- Usage and capability are different things. Fifty people prompting shows up as a cost line. A pipeline of owned, reviewed, adopted applications shows up as an asset. The distance between those is organizational, and crossing it is what the program is for.
- Can enterprises use vibe coding safely?
- Yes, under the same conditions as any software: clear ownership, access control, review before real data, and an audit trail. The platform supplies the controls; your operating rules are the Scale Kit’s job.
- How do we govern applications built by people who are not engineers?
- Set the guardrails before the first application ships rather than after the tenth. Defined builder roles, data handling rules, a review step before real data, and a named owner for every application. We set those with your own teams against your requirements.
- Where do we start?
