Team & Partners
The firm is small on purpose. These are the specialists we bring into an engagement, and the partners who build alongside us.
Amir Elion, founder

Twenty-five years in innovation and product: Motorola, Teva, director of product at two startups, then five years at Amazon. He led the AWS Nordics innovation program for three years, running Working Backwards engagements with Novo Nordisk, Volvo Group, KONE, Danske Bank, DNB, Husqvarna, Stora Enso, Lassila & Tikanoja and Combient. He founded Think Big Leaders around one idea: that thinking big matters more in the age of AI, and that innovation is a skill and a muscle individuals, teams and organizations can build. He started with a hundred coffee meetings and no agenda.
The specialists we bring in

Stefan Moritz
Future-readiness expert
Stefan makes the future tangible enough to act on and exciting enough to move on. Three moves run through everything: reclaim time, shape the future, empower growth. He starts with the leaders' own calendars, because ambition needs room to think, then takes the team forward to a future worth building and back to the first real step – with examples from a dozen industries doing the ceiling-lifting along the way.
30 years across service design, customer experience and the future of work – global companies, award-winning agencies and McKinsey, where he founded the design fiction practice. Dean of The Doodle Time Institute.

Michael Herkommer
Principal Advisor | AI Governance & Strategic Risk
Michael works at the intersection of AI governance and strategic risk. The space where policy intention meets organisational reality, and where most implementation plans quietly fail.
He came to this position from the inside. Over the past four years he made a deliberate move: away from technology leadership roles and into AI governance as his primary practice. That background remains his core advantage. Having served as CIO and interim CISO, he understands not just what governance frameworks should say, but how they behave when technology leaders, risk committees, and finance functions actually try to apply them together. That operational depth is what separates governance advice that holds from advice that only reads well on paper. His work as Strategic Director at Hammarskjöld Society, on ethical leadership and the foundations of principled decision-making, grounds that practice in something deeper: the belief that governance built on values outlasts governance built on compliance.
His policy engagement runs deep: forums at ETH Zürich, the EU Commission in Brussels and Luxembourg, and WEF Davos 2026. He founded the AI Office for Almi, Sweden's state-backed SME and venture capital group, he is one of 50 globally selected participants in AI Game Changers for Human AI, and chairs the Zürich Chapter.

Joost de Leij
Strategist Facilitator, Keynote Speaker, Advisor, AI Labs for Leaders
Joost works at the intersection of strategy, leadership and Artificial Intelligence.
Founder of Limelights, an Amsterdam boutique doing strategy facilitation for C-suites, boards and senior teams. He doesn't help companies adopt AI; he helps leadership teams lead in an AI world by asking the questions nobody dares to ask.
Keynote, hackathon or off-site, the format varies; his flagship is the AI Lab for Leaders, a tailored hands-on program that moves a leadership team from complexity to clarity. He builds live with AI in front of the room while agent strategy squads do the deep work.
He works with leadership teams of companies such as Booking.com, Rituals & ING.
