Intent preview
An intent preview is a statement of what an agent plans to do, written in the user’s vocabulary and shown before any consequential action, with at least three responses available: proceed, edit the plan, or take the task back.
Control sits with both parties
When to use it
Any action that is irreversible, involves money, is visible to a third party, or changes something the person cannot easily restore.
What it prevents
Users feeling ambushed by actions they did not authorize, which is the failure that leads them to turn the feature off entirely.
